Inserve Marine Surveying, otherwise known as InserveMS, is a new company founded in February 2025 and started trading 1st April (April Fools’ Day in the UK!!). It came about following the winding up of Inserve Risk Engineering Ltd. (Known as Inserve) for commercial shipping surveys.
Simon Groves, the founder and Director of Inserve, after 22 years of marine loss prevention and surveying commercial shipping and yachts, will continue with yacht surveys. He can be contacted at www.inserve.org and simon.groves@inserve.org
Having worked with Simon at Inserve for 17 years, he asked if I would continue with the commercial shipping survey business, so InserveMS was started. All the best parts of the old company are still the same with InserveMS but new updated techniques have been added to our services.
We carry out all types of marine surveying of cargo and passenger vessels but specialise in hull and machinery insurance surveying, particularly the JH2013/007 A, B and C surveys.
